Das von AKG ist ein dynamisches Richtmikrofon (Druckgradientenempfänger). Es wurde D5

speziell als Gesangsmikrofon für den harten Bühneneinsatz entwickelt. Durch seine supernie-

renförmige Richtcharakteristik ist das für Schall, der von vorne einfällt, am empndlichsten, D5

während es auf von der Seite und hinten einfallenden Schall kaum anspricht. Das ist D5 S

elektrisch, mechanisch und akustisch identisch mit dem , besitzt jedoch einen knackfreien D5

The AKG is a supercardioid dynamic microphone. It has been designed specically as D5

a vocal microphone for rough onstage use. The wide frequency response of the slightly D5

favors the mid-frequency and treble regions to ensure good intelligibility of speech. The term

“supercardioid polar response” means that the is most sensitive to sound in front of it, D5

less sensitive to sound arriving from the sides and rear. The has the same mechanical, D5 S

D5 LX D5 is acoustically identical to the , but has a hum compensating coil that reduces noise

ANWENDUNG

Grundsätzlich wird Ihre Stimme umso voller und weicher wiedergegeben, je kürzer der Abstand

entfernteres Klangbild bewirken. Sie können daher Ihre Stimme aggressiv, neutral oder ein-

schmeichelnd klingen lassen, indem Sie den Mikrofonabstand verändern. Der Naheffekt tritt im

Abstand von weniger als 5 cm von der Schallquelle auf und bewirkt eine starke Betonung der

Tiefen. Er verleiht Ihrer Stimme einen voluminöseren, bassbetonten Klang.

APPLICATIONS

Your voice will sound bigger and smoother, the closer you hold the microphone to your lips.

Moving away from the microphone will produce a more reverberant distant sound, as the

microphone will pick up more of the room’s reverberation. You can use this effect to make your

voice sound aggressive, neutral, insinuating, etc., simply by changing your distance from the

microphone. Proximity effect is a more or less dramatic boost of low frequencies that occurs

when you sing into the microphone from less than 2 inches. It gives more “body” to your voice

and a bass heavy sound.

UTIZACIÓN

Por principio, su voz se reproduce más plena y suave cuanto menor es la distancia entre los
