Thank you for the purchase of the Alphatron EVF-035W-3G EVF Electronic Viewnder. We
have heard a few instances of “burned in” images on the LCD panel and wanted to send
the following precautionary information to make sure this does not happen to your unit.
Caution: The LCD panel can potentially be damaged by sunlight or other bright light
sources entering the viewnder and being intensied by the lens. To avoid damage,
simply rotate the silver ring directly behind the eyecup to engage the capping shutter and
prevent light from entering the eyepiece.
As long as you close the capping shutter, you should not have this problem.
