This special Anton/Bauer
®
Gold Mount
®
bracket allows you to use your existing Logic
Series
®
batteries to power the Canon
®
EOS 5D Mark II, 7D, and 60D DSLR cameras. An
internal DC to DC converter automatically brings down the voltage of a 14.4 volt battery to
7.2 volts in order to power the camera; simply snap a battery onto the Gold Mount adapte
r
and plug the power cord into the camera. The bracket’s on-board PowerTap
®
also provides
an additional 14.4 VDC nominal auxiliary DC output for Ultralight 2, UltraDAYlight,
ULHM-LED, or any other piece of equipment that may be powered by a 12 VDC (11-
17VDC) source (50 watts maximum). The pouch can accommodate the DIONIC
®
90,
DIONIC HC, and HyTRON
®
50 batteries.
The QR-DSLR can be mounted to various third party shoulder support systems such as
RedRock
®
Micro*, Cinevate
®
, Shape
®
, Zacuto
®
, and others that incorporate the Anton/Baue
r
mounting hole pattern in their design. This can be achieved by removing the sheet metal
backplate on the QR-DSLR and then using the existing four (4) screws to attach the QR-
DSLR to the shoulder support system.
*If attaching to a RedRock Microsystems cheese plate you may need one (1) backplate (P/N
5115-0405), and four (4) screws (P/N 6120-5522).
