ZONE4R installationoperationand manual

ZONE4R ZONE4remote  panel is designed audioforusewiththeAPart‐  preamplifieronly. Wiring is easy,

usingindustry higher)standardCAT5(or computernetworkcable.Both ‐T 568A 568Band ‐Tcable

terminationscanbeused.

It is possible useto more onethan ZONE4Rremotepanelperzone.Maximumnumberofremote panels

perZONE4preamplifier   is 8 panels inany              configuration : e.g. 2 panels x 4 zones = 8panels or 8 panels x

1 = 8 a 8 inzone  panelsoranyothercombinationwith maximumof panels total.

Donotconnect               the ZONE4 or the ZONE4R remote panel to a computer network, this will cause serious

damage computertothe networkandtheZONE4/Runits!



1. Musiclevel levelcontrol:thisknobhasthe thesamefunctionalityas music knobontheZONE4mainunit.

Turn displayedtheknobtoadjustthemusiclevel.Theactualvalueis onthescreen‘2’for a fewseconds.

Pushthe theknobto mute themusic, mutestatusisindicatedbyled‘4’.

2. Display:thisshowstheselectedmusic music (line) source to‘A D’orthe ormicrophonelevels.When a

valuehasbeenedited,thedisplaylightsupmorestronglyduring a fewseconds.After a fewseconds, the

display ofwillshowthe thatselectedmusic Pleasesourceagain. note aftersometime non‐operation,the

intensityof displaythe willdimautomatically.

3. Micromix mixlevelcontrol:thisknobhasthesamefunctionality as themicro levelknobontheZONE4

main level.unit.Turnthe theknobtoadjust micromix The onactualvalueisdisplayed thescreen‘2’for a

fewseconds.Pushthe to the theknob  mute micromix, mutestatusisindicated ledby ‘7’.

Installationinstructions:

YoumustassigntheZONE4R duringunit to number  a zone bypushingknob‘1’and‘3’simultaneously  5 seconds.

The on orselected iszonenumber displayed the the thescreen‘2’.Tochange zonenumber,push up down

switches or normal‘5’ ‘6’.After a fewseconds, returnstheZONE4R to operationandwillmemorizeitsassigned

zoneautomatically.You alsocan switchzones              by pushing the small switch at the back of the unit. With every push,

thezonenumberchanges        1 up, from 1 to 4 and back to       1 and so on. You can connect multipleZONE4Runitsto the 

ZONE4mainunitusing same a straightthroughCAT5cablehub.YoucanassignmultipleZONE4R to theunits   zone.

The ofmaximumnumber ZONE4Runits to unitconnected  a singleZONE4 is 8 pieces.MaximumapprovedCAT5

cablelengthis100metersperzone.
