AX-ADXSVI-MB1

Mercedes accessory and NAV output CAN Interface 2001-2004

• Provides accessory power (12-volt 10-amp)

• Retains R.A.P. (retained accessory power)

•

Used in non-amplified systems, or when bypassing an amplified system

• Provides NAV outputs (parking brake, reverse, and speed sense)

• Prewired ASWC-1 harness (ASWC-1 sold separately)

• Retains balance and fade

• Micro "B" USB updatable

Attention! This harness must be used along with the AX-ADXSVI

(sold separately)

APPLICATIONS

WIRING THE AX-ADXSVI-MB1

• Connect the Yellowwire to the radio’s 12 volt battery or memory wire.

• Connect the wire to the radio’s ground wire.Black

• Connect the wire to the ignition wire of the aftermarket radio.Red

• Connect the wire to the illumination wire of the aftermarket radio. If the Orange

aftermarket radio has no illumination wire, tape off the Orange wire.

• Connect the wire to the antenna turn on wire of the aftermarket radio.Blue

•

Connect the wire to the left front positive speaker output of the aftermarket radioWhite

.

• Connect the wire to the left front negative speaker output of the White/Black

aftermarket radio.

•

Connect thewire to the right front positive speaker output of the aftermarket radio Gray

.

• Connect the wire to the right front negative speaker output of the Gray/Black

aftermarket radio.

• Connect the wire to the radio’s left rear positive speaker output.Green

Connect the wire to the radio’s left rear negative speaker output.Green/Black

• Connect the wire to the radio’s right rear positive speaker output.Purple

• Connect the wire to the radio’s right rear negative speaker output.Purple/Black

The following (3) wires are for the aftermarket radios that have navigation built in.

• Connect the wire to the parking brake wire of the aftermarket Light Green

navigation radio (if applicable).

• Connect thewire to the VSS or speed sense wire of the aftermarket Blue/Pink

navigation radio (if applicable).

• Connect the wire to the reverse wire of the aftermarket navigation Green/Purple

radio (if applicable).

INITIALIZING THE AX-ADXSVI-MB1

Attention!If the interface loses power for any reason, the following steps will need to

be performed again. Also, if installing an ASWC-1 connect it after you initialize and test

the interface/radio, with the key in the off position.

• Turn the key (or push-to-start button) to the ignition position and wait until the radio

comes on.

Note: If the radio does not come on within 60 seconds, turn the key to the off

position, disconnect the interface, check all connections, reconnect the interface,

and then try again.

• Turn the key to the off position, and then to the accessory position. Test all functions

of the installation for proper operation, before reassembling the dash.

All accessories, switches, climate con-

trols panels, and especially air bag indicator lights

must be connected before cycling the ignition.

Also, do not remove the factory radio with the key

in the on position, or while the vehicle is running.
