SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This product can reproduce loud and high-pitched sounds. Prolonged exposure to loud sounds can lead
to permanent hearing loss. Use the device at the lowest possible perceptible volume. Read the safety
instructions before using the product.
General safety guidelines for audio products:
·Set the volume control to the lowest possible volume and slowly increase the volume to a level that is
comfortable for you.
·Try to keep the volume as low as possible and avoid using the product in a noisy environment.
·Ringing in the ears may indicate that the volume is set too high.
·If you experience discomfort or if you notice ringing in your ears, it is recommended that you stop using
the product immediately and consult a doctor if necessary.
·Keep the product away from children before installation. The inner packaging of the product could
pose a hazard. E.g. due to small parts of the accessories that can be swallowed or due to packaging
components such as polybags, which pose a choking hazard for small children.
·Follow the manufacturer's instructions in the installation manual. Specific knowledge and tools are required
for installation. Improper installation can lead to damage to the vehicle and the product.
·Speakers that are not attached correctly pose a danger to the occupants, as they can come loose in the
event of an accident and injure people.
·Opening the product and/or modification by an unauthorized person will invalidate the warranty. In the
event of a malfunction or fault, please contact an authorized specialist dealer.
Warning: Pacemakers
Magnets can affect the function of pacemakers and implanted defibrillators. If you wear such devices,
ensure that you keep a sufficient distance. Warn wearers of such devices if necessary.
Warning: Fire hazard
The voice coil of the loudspeaker or components of the supplied crossovers can become very hot in the
event of an electrical overload due to the amplifier power being set too high, damage to the loudspeaker or
a short circuit due to improper installation. If you suddenly notice a strong foreign odor that smells like burnt
plastic and/or slightly fishy, switch off the audio system immediately and check the car audio installation.

you intend to install the system yourself, please familiarize yourself thoroughly with the installation instruc-
tions for this speaker set described in detail below.

UNPACKING THE SYSTEM
Carefully remove the speakers from the carton and check that all parts are in perfect condition. The system
consists of the following individual components:
- 2 mid-woofers
- 2 tweeters including inline-crossover
- 2 metal badges “AXTON Specific”
Please contact your AXTON dealer if the package is incomplete or if any part of this set has been damaged
in transit.
ASSEMBLY
This set is compatible with the Fiat Ducato III and platform-related vehicles. For step-by-step instructions
on how to correctly remove the original speakers from your vehicle, please contact the relevant service
workshop. The following instructions for the Fiat Ducato serve as an example for all models.
Use a wide plastic wedge to carefully loosen the loudspeaker cover. Start at the front and work your way
backwards, piece by piece. Unplug the connection cable and the three screws that secure the original
loudspeaker. Remove the speaker and insert the AXTON woofer. Connect the original connection cable
and fasten the AXTON woofer with the original screws. Finally, replace the grille.
Professional tip:
Due to the commercial vehicle character, there is practically no door insulation in Fiat Ducato vehicles.
The area behind the loudspeaker opening alone provides a significant gain in terms of sound by damping
the door panel. A combination of aluminum butyl and open-cell foam, for example ZEALUM ZN-FINISH
or EMPHASER ESP-DM2, is perfectly suited.
In the second step, remove the A-pillar trim. Use a plastic wedge at the top end to lever the cover out of
the catch. Unplug the connection cable from the original tweeter and remove it from the catch. The three
plastic brackets of the tweeter are relatively delicate, we recommend proceeding with caution. Insert the
AXTON tweeter. Pay attention to the indentation on the edge of the tweeter grille, which indicates the exact
position for correctly attaching the tweeter. Although the tweeter fits perfectly, we recommend additionally
fixing it in place with hot glue. Plug the cable of the supplied tweeter crossover into the original connection.
Attach the crossover in the lower area of the inside of the A-pillar trim near the windshield using the 3M
adhesive pad. Fit the A-pillar trim. The installation of the AXTON sound system is complete.
