HAWRK5 ADA WIRING KIT

WARNING

For residential (domestic) installation only. Before proceeding, switch power off at service panel and lock service

disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. Installation work and electrical wiring

must be done by qualified person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated

construction codes and standards.Also, it is recommended to wear safety glasses and gloves.

BRemove and set aside the filter(s).

CRemove the plate covering the access to the control board.

DInstall the ferrite on the shortest cable, close to the control board.

Make 3 loops with the cable wire before closing the ferrite.

CAUTION

Only use included switch, ferrite and cables.

EConnect the small cable to J10 connector on the control board.

NOTE: Please refer to the detailed instructions for your model. They

can be obtained using the appropriate QR code.

CAUTION

Avoid placing the ferrite over the control board.

FReinstall the plate covering the access to the control board.

GFrom outside the unit, insert the end with connector of the

included long cable inside the unit. Connect the long cable to the

small cable inside the unit.

HRun the other end (without connector) of the long cable to a

convenient place for the switch location. Install the included rocker

switch and wire it to the unit using below diagram.
