1. Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you have questions, contact the manufacturer.
2. Before servicing or cleaning this unit, switch power off at service panel and lock the service disconnecting means to prevent power from
being switched on accidentally. When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning label to
the service panel.
3. CAUTION: FOR GENERAL VENTILATING USE ONLY. DO NOT USE TO EXHAUST HAZARDOUS OR EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS
AND VAPORS.
4. CAUTION: THIS UNIT HAS AN UNGUARDED IMPELLER. DO NOT USE IN LOCATIONS READILY ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE OR
ANIMALS.
5. WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR PERSONAL INJURY, OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING
GUIDELINES:
a) Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by a qualified electrician in accordance with all applicable codes and
standards, including fire-rated construction.
b) When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, be careful not to damage electrical wiring and other hidden utilities.
c) Ducted fans must always be vented to outdoors.
d) If this unit is to be installed over a bath tub or shower, it must be marked as appropriate for the application and be connected to
GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) - protected branch circuit.
6. CAUTION: This duct fan shall be installed a minimum of one meter from any accessible opening of the duct.
