MIX
SSSWWOOOOOOOAAAASHH! The AIM establishes intensity and frequency
emphasis. The SPEED controls the LFO rate, from ketchup bottle slow to
caffeinated jitters. FEEDBACK recycles output from a later stage back to an
earlier one, for a more vocal effect. MIX goes all the way from fully dry, to
different phasing depths, all the way to a 100% wet vibrato.
The WAVE selector allows you to make the 100% analog LFO triangular or
square. The square may have audible tick-tock in some settings. The MOD,
courtesy of DIY legend Mark Hammer, is super cool – it changes the filter
notches in the stages from symmetrical to something closer to a 60s vibe pedal.
HAVOC is all gas, no brakes! And for our final surprise, you may hold down
our BYPASS control for momentary activation (or bypass) of the effect!
ARIGATO neither seeks to recapture the sounds of the past, nor to be state of
the art. It is a snapshot of a future p1-we were promised as children. While capab
of the airy psychedelia of classic units, this one is meant to rumble, wobble,
shake, rattle, and roar. It is also capable of going fully wet for interesting
vibrato sounds, max out feedback for auto-wah sweeps, and a wide range of
responsive shades throughout each control as they interact with the others.
We’re pretty excited about this release; the first pedal Philippe ever owned was
a phaser, and releasing this feels like coming home. Your pedal was dreamed,
