• This product is only intended for domestic use and only in themanner described in
this instruction manual.
• Theproduct should only be connected to a230 V, 50 Hz outlet protected by
a30mA RCD. ChecktheRCD before eachuse.
• This product is intended for indoor useonly.
• This product should not be exposed to excessive heat such as open flames or
other heat sources, prolonged sunlight or moisture.
• Never immerse theproduct in water or any other type of liquid.
• Never handle theproduct if your hands are moist orwet.
• Always grip theplug when unplugging theproduct, never pull themainslead.
• Always unplug theproduct from themains if its motor has become wet ordamp.
• This product may only be used to vacuum non-hazardous materials and non-
flammable liquids.
• Never point thenozzle at yourself, others or animals.
• Theproduct may not be used without acorrectly mounted dust bag and filter
when dry vacuuming.
• Never use theproduct if it, its mains lead or plug are damaged in anyway.
• Themains lead must be replaced by aqualified electrician if it is damaged in
anyway.
• Never vacuum up hot ashes orcoals. Neveruse thevacuum to vacuum up glass
shards or other sharp objects.
• Do not vacuum toner powder used in printers. Thismay damage theproduct and
re-distribute thepowder throughout theroom.
• Never vacuum asbestos, asbestos dust, hazardous or flammable particulates.
• Never vacuum up petrol, oil, acid or other flammable and hazardous liquids.
• Never vacuum up liquids exceeding 60 °C.
• Theproduct must always be used in abalanced upright position.
• Always unplug themains lead before cleaning, changing thedust bag, filter or any
other accessories.
• Never attempt to repair or modify theproduct in anyway.
• Any repairs should only be carried out by qualified service technicians.
