Safety
• The product may be used by children and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of
experience and knowledge provided they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct in
asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children
but only under adult supervision.
• Never immerse thescale inwater.
• Never subject thescale to high temperature, dust,
heavyvibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
Buttons and functions
Operating instructions
1. Open thebattery cover on thebottom of thescale. Ifthere
is any insulation film on thebattery terminals, remove it.
Theinsulating film is used to maintain battery capacity
during transport and storage.
2. Press [ UNIT ] to select theunit of measurement.
3. Carefully, mount thescale, standing with your feet next to
each other. Standstill and upright. Afterafew seconds,
your weight will be displayed.
4. The scale will turn off automatically after 10 seconds of
noactivity.
If themeasuring capacity of thescale is exceeded, “Err” will
appear on thedisplay.
For reliable and accurate results:
• Place thescale on afirm and level surface, never on amat
or uneven surface.
• Weigh yourself barefoot, making sure that both your feet
and thescale are completely dry.
Care and maintenance
• Clean thescale by wiping it with adamp cloth. Onlyuse
mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• The scale should be regarded as aprecision instrument
and handled with care. Avoidrough treatment, shaking
andvibration.
• Remove thebatteries if theproduct is not to be used for
alongtime.
Changing the battery
• “Lo” will appear on thedisplay when thebatteries need
changing. Changeall thebatteries at thesame time,
do not mix old and new, or rechargeable with non-
rechargeable batteries.
• Insert 4×AAA/LR03 batteries. Notethepolarity markings
in thebattery compartment to ensure correct insertion.
