Safety
• For indoor use only.
• Incorrect handling of this product could result in personal injury.
• The product should always be disconnected from themains
when it is not in use, when it is to be assembled/disassembled
and when it is to be cleaned.
• The product may be used by children aged 8 or over
provided they have been instructed in its safe use and can
understand and are able to cope with any hazards or risks
involved with theproduct’s use.
• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children
aged 8 or over, but only under adult supervision.
Ensure that theproduct and its mains lead are kept out
of reach of children under theage of 8.
• Switch theproduct off and disconnect it from themains
before removing any of themoving parts.
• The product may be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capability, lack of experience
or knowledge which could otherwise jeopardize their safety,
provided they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning thesafe use of theproduct and understand
thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage.

• To prevent electric shocks, theproduct and its mains lead
should be kept dry.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges
or corners.
• Always disconnect theproduct from thepower supply by
holding and pulling theplug. Do not pull themains lead.
• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and that
theproduct is switched off before it is connected to thepo-
wer supply.
• Never use theproduct close to heat sources.
• Only use theprovided accessories.
• Never use theproduct for anything other than its intended use.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use
theproduct if themains lead or plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by themanufacturer, qualified service facility or
qualified technician.

Operating instructions
Note: Carefully read theCare and maintenance section before
using theproduct for thefirst time.
Note: Never use theproduct for longer than 15 seconds at
atime. Wait 15 seconds between each press. The product
should be allowed to rest for 30 minutes after every 10
15-second operations. Switch theproduct off and let
themotor cool down for aminute before using it again.
1. Plug thecitrus press into awall socket and place thebowl
onto themotor unit.
2. Press apiece of citrusfruit onto thecone, if it is abig fruit,
use thelarge cone.
3. Place aglass or cup under thespout and angle and
depress theangle of thespout to release thejuice.
Note: The motor changes direction if the fruit is pushed too
hard against the cone. Release pressure in order to avoid this.
Care and maintenance
1. Use asoft, damp cloth to clean themotor unit.
Wash theother parts in warm water with washing-up liquid.
2. Do not wash any of theparts in adishwasher.
3. Never immerse themotor unit in water.

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local authority.
