• Thesurge protector must only be plugged into to anearthed 230 V, 50 Hz power outlet.
• Ensure that any appliance/s connected to thesurge protector are rated for use with thecorrect mains supply
voltage (230 V, 50 Hz).
• Make sure that theelectrical socket that theproduct is plugged into is easily accessible in case it and
theconnected product need to be quickly disconnected from themains electricity.
• Do not connect products of this type to each other.
• Do not cover theproduct.
Operation
Note:
Thesurge protector is designed to suppress overvoltages in adomestic electrical system. Thesurgesuppression
feature will not protect against very close or direct lightning strikes.
1. First check that theappliance to be connected to thesurge protector is turnedoff.
2. Plug theappliance into thesocket of thesurge protector.
3. Then plug thesurge protector into awall socket.
