Safety instructions
Warning: Dangerous voltage.
• Theproduct should not be used if it is in any way damaged or malfunctioning.
Donot use thefan heater if themains lead or plug is damaged in anyway.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to prevent therisk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, aqualified service
facility or aqualified technician.
• Theproduct should not be taken apart or modified. Thecasing houses non-
insulated components. Contact with these can lead to fire or electricshock.
• Never immerse theproduct in water or other liquids.
• Never touch thecontrol panel or plug with wethands.
• Never use theproduct in therain or in wet conditions.
Warning:
• Never leave theproduct unattended while inuse.
• Do not touch any hot surfaces on theproduct. Burnhazard. Nevermove
theproduct while it is in use or before it has cooleddown.
• Fire hazard. Flammable materials such as furniture, paper, clothes and curtains
must be placed at least 50 cm above, behind and to theside of theheater, and
aminimum of 120 cm in front ofit.
• Do not place towels or similar objects on theproduct.
• Keep theproductclean. Makesure that no foreign objects can enter theproduct’s
ventilation openings, as this can present arisk of electric shock orfire.
• Theproduct must never be used near flammable gases or liquids.
• Theproduct is only intended for normal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual. Usingtheproduct for other than its intended
use may lead to fire, electric shock, other types of personal injuries or material damage.
• Children in thearea where theproduct is used must be kept under supervision.
• Theproduct is intended for indoor useonly.
• Make sure to route themains lead behind theproduct so that it is not damaged by
theheat from theproduct.
• Theproduct must only be plugged into anearthed 230 V, 50 Hz wall socket.
Neverconnect theproduct to theelectricity mains using anextensionlead.
