Safety
Warning: Followthese instructions for your safety and thesafety of others.
Carefully read through all theinstructions before using theradiator.
• Only use theradiator with thefeet attached. Thismodel is not designed to be wall
mounted.
• Connect theradiator only to anearthed wall outlet with 220–240 VAC.
• Only use theradiator as described in theinstruction manual. Donot use theradiator
for any purpose other than that for which it was intended or modify it in anyway.
• Make sure theradiator is clean and is not covered with dust or residue.
• The radiator is intended to be placed feet-down on afirm, level surface.
• Always unplug theradiator when it is not in use and before cleaning it.
• The radiator is only intended for indoor use. Donot use theradiator in humid places
or close to thebath or any other liquid-filled containers into which it mayfall.
• The radiator becomes very hot during use. Donot place theradiator close to
combustible materials such as furniture, bedclothes, paper or wood. Donot place
theradiator on soft carpets/mats or similar surfaces that can block theair inlets on
thebottom panel.
• The radiator must not be covered. Thismay block theair inlets and cause afire hazard.
• Make sure theflex is not too close to any hot part of theradiator which would
cause thecable insulation tomelt.
• The radiator is not atoy. Donot let children play with or around theradiator without
adult supervision when it is inuse.
• Never use theradiator in areas where flammable liquids/materials or gases (petrol,
solvents, gas cylinders, etc.) are stored orused.
• Do not use theradiator with anextension lead.
• Never use theradiator if theflex, plug or any other part is damaged or is not working
properly. Nevertry to repair theradiator yourself. Leaveit to aprofessional tradesman.
• Make sure that no foreign objects cover or obstruct theventilation openings
or outlet vents. Thiscan increase risk for electric shock, fire or may damage
theradiator irreparably.
• Never place theradiator directly under awall outlet.
• Never use theradiator or anextension lead near thebath, shower, swimming pool, etc.
• For extra safety, all electrical products connected to themains should be run
through anRCD for personal safety. TheRCD should be rated to trip at 30mA.
