1. Installing the transmitter
1.1 Location
The STI 2000 is a sensor for measuring room temperature,
which is designed to be paired with one or more X3D
heating receivers.
The STI 2000 regularly sends the measurements to the
associated receivers to optimise the heating orders.
The sensor must be installed ( ):
- on an accessible wall at a height of 1.50 m
- away from heat sources (replaces, sunlight) and
draughts (windows, doors),
Only install one sensor per room.
Do not install the sensor on a wall in contact with
the outdoors or with an unheated room (e.g. garage, etc.)
1.2 Mounting
You can mount the sensor:
- using the pre-glued adhesive ( ).
- using screws and dowels (not included) suitable for the
support ( ):
- Unscrew the locking screw and open the housing.
- Aach the base.
- Close the cover again using the locking screw.

2. Installing the receiver
2.1 Location
The receiver must be installed at a minimum distance of
20 cm from any metal surface (e.g. the boiler), and about
1.50 m from the ground to ensure there’s a good radio link
with the transmier.
2.2 Mounting / Connection
❶ First of all, switch o the electrical supply to your
installation.
❷ The receiver can be secured by suitably sized screws
or by adhesive (supplied).
❸ Connect the receiver
❹ Once the receiver is connected, reconnect the
electrical supply to your installation.
3. Heating configuration of the receiver
By default, the receiver is congured in Heating/Cooling
mode.
Depending on the installation, you can change its
conguration to switch it to Heating or Cooling mode.
To do this, press and hold the buon on the receiver to
be modied for 6 seconds until the LED lights up.
Release the buon.
Then, select the desired heating conguration by
repeatedly pressing the buon:
1 ash: Heating
2 ashes: Air conditioning
3 ashes: Heating/Air conditioning
Press the buon for 3 seconds to conrm your selection.
In the case of a multi-receiver installation conguration
with a single sensor, it is
possible to have dierent heating congurations for
each receiver.
