The ES-5500G V2 is a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet Desktop unmanaged switch designed to enhance network
performance in a compact form factor, and with outstanding performance and high eciency. The switch uses
store and forward packet-switching technology which oers reliable data transfer. This switch is ideal for
network connecvity for the SOHO environment.
The ES-5500G V2 with plasc housing oers a cost-eecve Gigabit Ethernet soluon for users to easily extend
home networks and to fulll their online gaming, mulmedia transferring and streaming needs. The plug-and-
play design allows users to easily connect network devices such as PCs, network storages and print servers to the
home network without manual conguraon involved.
IEEE Energy Ecient Ethernet (EEE) compliance saves power
The Switch ES-5500G V2 oers environmental eciency with Fast Ethernet speeds crical for next-generaon
network applicaons. To comply with the IEEE802.3az standard, the Switch ES-5500G V2 provides power saving
funcons to reduce energy consumpon to help business save cost.
•Inacve link detecon
The power usage adjustment feature automacally reduces power usage when any shut down network device or
inacve link is detected. That is, power consumption of the switch can be adjusted according to the link status or
the number of acve network devices when possible.
•Cable length detecon
The devices equipped with this green feature can automacally detect the length of connected Ethernet cables
and adjust power usage accordingly. The shorter the cable length, the less power it consumes.
Supports High-Speed Networking and Jumbo Frames
The ES-5500G V2 is an excellent soluon to expand your Gigabit network. With Gigabit speed, the -5500G V2 ES
gives high exibility and high bandwidth connecvity to servers, workstaons and other aached devices. It
enables you to save me when transferring large les. In addion, it also supports Jumbo Frames 9K to improve
network ulizaon in large les transfer.
Supports Auto-Negoaon
Every port of the ES-5500G V2 can automacally disnguish the connected network devices are running at
10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps for Half/Full-Duplex mode . The -5500G V2 can adjust the speed and mode ES
accordingly.
Easy to Use
The ES-5500G V2 is plug-and-play and supports all kind of network protocols to make installaon and network
management easy and fast. LED indicators provide a quick and easy way to read port and switch informaon.
