Edimax's ES-5824P switch is a superb choice for boosng your medium to large network's performance and

eciency. The 24-port Fast Ethernet + Web Smart Switch with 2 Gigabit Combo Ports is designed to seriously PoE

strengthen the network connecon of your network environment. The 19" switch (including rack-mount

brackets) will t neatly into your exisng rack environment.

Complies with IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports

Edimax's ES-5824P features 24 IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (+) ports that supply up to 30 was of PoE

electricity per port. It can convert standard 100~240V/AC power into low-voltage DC that runs over exisng LAN

cables to supply power to IEEE 802.3at compliant network accessories. The Edimax ES-5824P features PoE+

device detecon to verify whether individual, connected devices are IEEE 802.3at compliant or not, so only data

will be sent via the LAN cable if the device is not a or PE device. Various products such as Access Points, PoEPoE

IP cameras or IP phones are easily connected to the switch, making it the perfect soluon when power outlets

are dicult to install or exisng power outlets are too far from devices.

No Special Networking Cable Required

5824P switch and powered devices (PD). The Ethernet cable will then transmit both data and power, so you

won't need all those extra power cables to your powered devices (PD).

Edimax's ES-5824P Web Smart features put you in control of your network and oers extra protecon on the

network edge. It can be managed through a Web Browser and smart features include everything from simple

QoS/CoS applicaons and basic monitoring tools to improve network eciency, to a remote access password-

protected conguraon interface for the IT manager's mobility and IGMP snooping to reduce broadcast trac

from streaming and other bandwidth intensive IP applicaons. The ES-5824P also supports bandwidth control

and port based VLAN, so an administrator can set up VLANs to segregate trac, QoS to priorize mission-crical

data and link aggregaon to create fat trac pipelines.

The ES-5824P is high performance architecture of switch that is capable to provide the non-blocking switch

fabric and wire-speed throughput, which greatly simplies the tasks of upgrading the LAN for catering to
