Description

The SRT sensor probe is used to

monitor temperature in critical

environments.

NOTE: The SRT sensor and cable

assembly can span a total cable

distance up to 600 ft from the

Geist environmental monitoring

device.

NOTE: Three sensor sizes are

available. The standard

temperature probe measures 1.25

inches (3.18 cm) in length. The

4-inch (10.16 cm) and 10-inch (25.4

cm) probe options are available for

customers wanting to submerge

these probes in water or glycol for

liquid temperature monitoring.

Installation

1. Mount the temperature sensor

anywhere in the data center

with zip ties or Velcro tape.

2. Plug the uplink cable into the

sensor port (RJ12/ ) of the

Geist environmental monitoring

device or rack PDU.

Once connected, the Geist

environmental monitoring device

automatically detects and identifies

the sensor.
