• If you have aﬁrewall / router you must conﬁgure your computer router settings and router port settings

(see your router user guide) to enable image display and manoeuvring of theDVR system from acomputer

outside your local area network.

• In order to connect to acomputer on your local area network, you will need to enter theDVR’s IP address

in Internet Explorer’s address ﬁeld. Ifanexternal display screen is connected, you will be able to see

1. Safety

• The product should not be taken apart or modiﬁed. Certain exposed parts inside thecasing carry

dangerouscurrent. Touching these can lead to ﬁre or electric shock.

• Do not cover theproduct. Adequate ventilation with adistance of at least 15 cm between ventilation holes

and thesurrounding area is necessary to prevent thedevice from becoming toowarm.

• Use only theincluded or recommended mains adaptor.

• Ensure that thepower supply to themains adaptor is 230 V/50Hz.

• Do not place theproduct where there is arisk of it falling into water or other liquid. Donot place any objects

which contain liquid onto theproduct such as vases, drinks.

• Never subject theproduct to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.

• Do not abuse themains lead. Donot carry theproduct by its mains lead and do not unplug theproduct by

pulling on themains lead – always grip theplug itself. Makesure that themains lead does not come into

contact with heat, sharp edges or is crushed.

• Unplug themains lead during thunderstorms or if theproduct is not to be used for alongtime.

• Do not attempt to repair, dismantle or modify theproduct in any way, it may only be repaired by

aqualiﬁedtechnician.
