Safety

• Incorrect charging current may damage your computer.

Make sure that theadaptor is designed to be used for

your computer before connecting it.

• Never attempt to modify or disassemble theadaptor.

• Turn off your computer before connecting theadaptor.

• Do not expose theadaptor to moisture, knocks or blows.

• Theadaptor is only intended for indoor use.

• Never use theproduct if either themains lead, connector

lead or adaptor itself is damaged.

Operating instructions

Note:

• Theadaptor is capable of charging and powering laptops

which require 18V DC, 19 V DC or 20V DC current.

Theadaptor must only be used with computers which

require apower output of between 0 and 65W.

• Make sure that theoutput power and voltage of theadaptor

is compatible with your laptop before connecting it. Refer to

theowner’s manual or documentation for your laptop if you

are at all unsure.

• Theadaptor will become warm during use, which is entirely

normal.

1. Select theappropriate DC connector plug tip for your laptop

and connect it to theconnector plug, refer to thetable below.

2. Connect themains lead to theadaptor.

3. Plug theadaptor into awall socket, theLED indicator light

on theadaptor will come on.

4. Making sure that theconnector tip is thecorrect one for

your laptop, connect theadaptor to your laptop.

Note: Disconnect theadaptor lead from your laptop

immediately if theLED indicator light does not come on.

Make sure that thevoltage is appropriate for use with your

laptop and that theconnector tip is correct before use.

Connector tips

Theconnector plug tips can only be connected to theplug

of theadaptor in one way. This is to ensure that thepolarity

always remains correct. Select theappropriate connector tip

using thediagram below and make sure that theconnector is

securely connected to theadaptor plug and your laptop.

• Make sure that thecorrect connector tip

is used and that all leads are whole and

correctly connected to theadaptor, laptop

and power point.

• Check that thewall socket is live.

• Check thecondition of your laptop battery

to make sure that it is capable of receiving

acharge.

TheLED

indicator

light goes

out.

Immediately disconnect theadaptor from your

laptop and make sure that theoutput voltage of

theadaptor is correct for your laptop. Refer to

theowner’s manual or documentation for your

laptop if you are at all unsure.
