A. INPUT: Plug instrument in here.
B. BRIGHT: Pushbutton switch provides greater high-end sparkle.
C. CHANNEL ONE VOLUME: Volume control for channel one.
D. CHANNEL ONE BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE: Tone controls for channel one.
E. CHANNEL TWO SWITCH/INDICATOR: Push to activate channel two;
Illuminates when in use.
F. GAIN: Adjusts preamp gain and signal overdrive in channel two.
G. HI GAIN SWITCH/INDICATOR: Push to activate high gain in channel
two; Illuminates when in use.
H. BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE: Tone controls for channel two.
I. CHANNEL TWO VOLUME: Volume control for channel two.
J. REVERB: Digital hall reverb level control for both channels.
K. POWER INDICATOR: Illuminates when amplifier is on.
L. MUTE: Mutes power amp and speaker while DIRECT OUT (V) signal
remains live for recording and sound reinforcement use. POWER
INDICATOR (K) flashes when MUTE is in use.
M. POWER: Turns amplifier on (up) and off (down). It’s recommended that
the amplifier be placed in MUTE (L) before turning power on and off.
The Bassbreaker 30R is a versatile 30-watt amp that delivers the big, thick
and crunching tone sound of pure tube greatness, with three switchable
preamp gain structures and many other great features. The Bassbreaker
30R builds on the acclaimed lineage of the great Fender tube amps of the
past, with modern features including high-gain circuitry, black vinyl Nubtex
covering and refined pointer knobs, topped off with the early Fender block-
letter logo.
With its full sound and distinctive style, the Bassbreaker 30R is ideal for
stage and studio alike. It lets players effortlessly shift gears among three
impeccably voiced tonal flavors from clean sparkle to bluesy crunch to full-
on burn.
Bassbreaker 30R also features a bright switch for extra brilliance, shimmer-
ing reverb, convenient front-panel mute switch, recording-quality speaker
emulated line out, four EL84 output tubes, a 12” Celestion® speaker for
tighter rock distortion, impedance select switch and more.

N. IEC POWER INLET: Using the included power cord, connect to a
grounded outlet in accordance with the INPUT POWER voltage and
frequency specified at the power inlet.
O. FUSE: Provides electrical overcurrent protection. With power
disconnected, replace a blown fuse only with one of the type and
rating specified on the amp’s rear panel.
P. IMPEDANCE SELECT: If no external enclosures are connected to
PARALLEL SPEAKER OUTPUTS (Q), this switch should be set to the
position. To avoid damage to the amplifier when using PARALLEL
SPEAKER OUTPUTS, this switch must be set in accordance with the
total impedance load as shown in the table on the facing page. Also
to avoid damage, turn the amplifier off when changing IMPEDANCE
SELECT switch settings.
