Your wireless switched module system includes:

• Two#8x2"woodscrews
• Thismanual
You will need to buy a 9-volt alkaline battery for the wireless switch.Intypical
use,thisbatterywilllastoneyear.
Multiplechannels(AthruE)areavailablesothatyoucanoperateseveralsystems
atdifferentlocationsinyourhome.Ifyoupurchasemorethanonesystem,make
sureyouselectdifferentoperatingchannels,ortheywillinteractwitheachother.
Ifyoupurchaseadifferentswitchplatetomatchyourdecor,makesureitisnota
metalplate.Metalwallplateswillreducetheoperatingrange.

Installation
1. Install the 9-volt battery.Removetheswitchcoverfromthe transmitteras
shown(savethetwoscrews).Snapthebatteryclipsoverthebatteryterminals
andsetthebatteryintoitscompartment.

2. Turn off the power to the outlet or lamp to be controlled. Installthe
switchedoutletorlampmoduleasshown.
3. For the SL-6136, plug in the device(s) you wish to control. Screwthelight
bulbintotheSL-6138.Caution: donotexceedthespecicationslistedonthe
nextpage.Turnthepowerbackon.
4. To check the operation,holdtheremoteswitchatthedesiredlocationand
switch it on.The appliance shouldturn on immediately. Wait atImportant:
least3secondsafteryouswitchtheremoteswitchonoroffbeforeyouswitch
itagaintoallowthetransmissiontobecompleted.Turntheapplianceoffand
backonseveraltimes.Iftheswitchappearsunreliable,movetheremoteswitch
untiltheapplianceswitchesreliably.
5. Mount the remote switch at the desired location withthetwowoodscrewspro-
vided. Yourparticularinstallationmayrequiredifferentmountinghard-Note:
ware.
6. Install the switch plate on the remote switch
withthescrewsprovided.

remoteswitch.
5. Weakbatteryintheremoteswitch.
1. Switchingtoofast.Wait3secondsbeforeswitch-
ingtheremoteswitch.
2. Sameas4&5above.
1. Shorttermpowerlinefailure.
2. Anotherremoteswitchonthesamechannel.
