Installation

Beforeyoubegin:

●Makesurethedeviceinthepackageisingoodcondition.

●Makesurealltherelatedequipmentispower-offduringtheinstallation.

●Checktheproductspecificationfortheinstallationenvironment.

1.FixtheDINrailontothewall.

Note:YouarerequiredtoutilizeamatchedDINrail.

2.Presstheredclipupward,andlockittotheDINrail.

TipsforCablesandInstallation

CablesandWiring

●Whentherearemultiplecoresinoneparallelline,onlyonepairofclosedcoresareallowed

totransmitsignal.Itisnotallowedtousemultiplepairofcoresinonecabletotransmit

signal.

●Whenusingparallellines,itissuggestedtousethosewithshieldinglayer.Ifdualcoreor

multiplecoreparallellineswithoutshieldinglayerarerouted,stabilityofsignal

transmissioncanbeeffected.Youneedtorunatestbeforeinstallation.

●Impedanceofcableshouldnotbeoversuggestedvalue,ordistributorcannottransmit

enoughpowertoindoorstationordoorstation.

●Strongelectricityandweakelectricitycannotbewiredinthesameroute,theyneedtobe

wiredseparatelyandthedistanceshouldbemorethan0.5meter.

●Allthecablesusedneedtofollowtherestrictioninthefollowingtable.

DeviceInstallation

●Installationenvironment(temperature,moistureetc.)needstofollowrequirementsin

specificationorpoweroutputcanbeeffected.

●Powerconsumptionofmodulardoorstation(mainmoduleandsubmodules)shouldbeless

than12W.Pleasereachlocaltechnicalsupportifyouarenotsureaboutpowerconsumption

ofeachmodule.DoorstationshouldbeconnectedtoCH6ofthevideo/audiodistributor.If

modulardoorstationisconnectedtoanyterminalofCH1toCH5,upto3submodulescan

beconnected.

●IndoorstationshouldbeconnectedtoanyterminalofCH1toCH5ofthevideo/audio

distributor.

●Upto15video/audiodistributorcanbecascaded.Ifmoredistributorsareneeded,you

shouldcascadenetworkswitchsupporting1000Mbps.Thewhole2-wiresystemcanhaveup

to500devices.

●PowersupplymustbecertifiedbyHikvision.

●IndoorstationneedstousefirmwarereleasedafterOctober,2019.
