NOISE FILTER INSTRUCTIONS
Risk of Electrical Shock
• To avoid re, shock or death, disconnect all power before installing device.
• Follow local electrical and safety code, National Electric Code (NEC) and
Occupational Safety and Health Act Codes (OSHA).
• If the power disconnect point is out of sight, lock it in the OFF position
and tag it to prevent unexpected application of power.
• Do not exceed the maximum rating of the device.

WIRING DIAGRAM
(Pool and Spa Safety Transformer)
Connect the Intermatic ET-NF noise lter across the primary leads
(Line and Neutral) of the transformer as shown in the diagram.
Install the noise lter in the transformer’s line voltage compartment.
DESCRIPTION
An AC lter network to provide relay contact protection, noise
circuit reduction, and EMI/RFI reduction.
The lter should be placed across the source of the noise, such
as across the coil of a relay or contactor. It may also be placed
across the line connections to the device being protected to
lter out noise that can cause erratic operation. Make sure
connections are both electrically and mechanically secure
before reapplying power.
Install in dry locations only.
