GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This applian ce must be grounded. In the event
of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding will
reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a
path of least resistan ce of electric current. This
appliance is equipped with a cord having an
equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding
plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate
outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance
with all local cod es an d ordinances.

of electric shock. Check with a qualified
electrician or service representative if you
are in doubt whether the appliance is
properly grounded. D o not modify the plug
provided with the appliance ;If it is not fit
for the outlet .have a proper outlet installed
by a qualified electric ian.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Under certai n conditions , Hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot-w ater s ys tem that ha s not been
use d for two weeks or more. HYDRO GEN GA S IS EX PLOSIV E.
If the hot-water system has not be en used for s uch a pe riod, before usi ng the dishwasher turn on all
hot-water fa ucets and let th e water flow fr om each for seve ra l minut es. This will releas e any
ac cum ulated hydrogen ga s. As the ga s is flamma ble, do not sm oke o r use an open fl ame during this
tim e.
When using your dishwasher, f ollow the below basic precautions including the follo wing:

ī‚„Keep child away from detergent and rinse aid, keep
child away from the open door of the dishwasher,
there could still be some detergent left inside.
ī‚„Do not abuse, sit on, or stand on the door or dish
rack of the dishwasher.
ī‚„Do not touch the heating element during or
immediately after use.
ī‚„Do not wash plastic items unless they are marked
dishwasher safe or the equivalent. For plastic
items not so marked, check the manufactures
recommendations.
Use onl y dete rgent and rinse addi tives des igned
for an automatic dishwasher. Ne ve r use soap ,
la undry de terge nt, or ha nd was hing detergent
in your dishwasher . Ke ep these products out of
chi ldr en.

During i nstalla tion, the power supply must not
be e xce ss iv ely or danger ousl y bent or fl attene d.
The door should not be l eft in the ope n pos ition
si nce thi s coul d present a tri pping haza rds.

ī‚„Do not tamper with controls.

Do not operate y our dishwas her unless all
encl osure panels are prop erly in place. Open the
door ve ry car efully i f th e dish wa sher is op era ting,
t here is a risk of water squirting ou t.

Do n ot place any heavy objects of stand on the door
when it is open. The a ppliance could tip forward.
When loa ding items to be w ashe d:
1) Loc ate s ha rp i tems so that they are not l ikely to
dam age the door sea l;
2) Load sharp knive s w ith the handle s up to r educ e
the risk of c ut -typ e i nj uri es .

pla sti c item from co ntacti ng with he ating el ement.

If the supply cor d i s damage d, it m ust be replaced
by the manufac ture r or its ser vi ce a gent or a
si mila rly qualified pers on i n or der to a void a
haza rd.

ī‚„Remove the door to the washing compartment when
removing an old dishw asher from service or discarding it.
