VGA UTP extender 1X2 splitter with audio

Introduction

This VGA UTP extender 1X 2 splitter with audio is an ideal device for local displaying and remote

viewing. It combines split function and extension function. It distributes the input of the VGA signal and

audio signal into the two identical outputs simultaneously. Each receiver by Cat5x 1 works with the

sender as a full functional module by receiving the distributed signal from the sender and transmitting

to displays individually. Only by the most inexpensive UTP cable with cross stand inside, the full

functional module extends the VGA display to maximum 300 meters.

Features

This device has many features that enable it to perform in a superior manner. Among those features

• Extends VGA video and stereo audio signal to maximum 300 meters over one UTP cable with

cross stand inside

• Supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1200

• Dual output at local unit: 1x VGA output for local site, plus 2x UTP output for remote site

Connection and operation

• Connect the single VGA source to the main VGA input using a length of VGA cable

• Connect VGA output of the sender to a local display and audio output of the sender to a local sounder

• Connect sender and each receiver using a piece of CAT-5e/6

• Connect VGA outputs of receivers to remote displays and audio output of receivers to remote

sounders

• Plug one 5 V @ 2 A power supply into the VGA UTP 1X 1 splitter and the other 5 V @ 2 A power

suppliers to receiver
