Kopul’s XLR to RJ45 Network Cable Extenders
send clean and interference-free signals to sound
boards, PA systems, multitrack recorders, and
DMX-equipped lights, even if they’re hundreds of
feet away. Take them wherever you set up, and
replace heavy, bulky, and expensive audio and
DMX snakes with affordable ethernet or
etherCON cables. These passive network
extenders require no external power to operate.
When they’re connected with a Cat 5, 5e, 6, or 7
ethernet cable, they provide four channels of
balanced mic level, AES/EBU, and DMX signals,
and extend the length of your cable runs without
interference, signal loss, or added coloration.
Gold-plated XLR connecters assure superb signal
transfer and resist corrosion, and durable steel
construction stands up to demanding travel and
studio environments.
• Connect the XLRM-RJ45 and XLRF-RJ45 with a Cat 5, 5e,
6, or 7 ethernet cable. EtherCON cables provide a locking
metal shell that protects the RJ45 connector.
• The XLRM-RJ45 and XLRF-RJ45 work with dynamic and
condenser microphones.
• Condenser microphones can receive phantom power only
over shielded Cat 6 or Cat 7 ethernet cables.
• The XLRM-RJ45 and XLRF-RJ45 are compatible with DMX
lights and controllers, as well as pro audio components
that output an AES/EBU signal.
