To set up the Cubelite system for the first time the
procedure is as follows:
1. Lay each item on the floor. You should have:
1. 1 x Cubelite
2. 1 x Tungsten Light
3. 1 x 500w bulb
4. 1 x Light stand
5. 1 x Silver/white reflector
6. 1 x White background
7. 2 x Metal clips
8. 1 x Carry case
2. Remove the Cubelite from it’s blue circular carry case.
3. Let it spring open to form a rounded square shape.
4. Open it out to form a right angle shape.
5. Pull the middle section out diagonally and manouver
the steel to form the cube shape. It should spring into
shape.
6. Give the whole cube a shake if it doesn’t spring into
shape.
7. Place the Cubelite onto your table or chosen work
surface.
8. Remove the front panel and store if not required.
9. Remove the background from the tube.
10. Attach inside the Cubelite using the sewn in elastic
loops and the 2 x clips provided.
11. Remove the stand from box.
12. Pull out the three legs to form a tripod structure, lock
them in place and stand it up
13. Remove the protective plastic moulding from the top.
14. Remove light unit from box.
15. Attach light to the top of the stand and tighten the
knob to secure. DO NOT plug the light in yet.
16. Remove bulb from box.
17. Screw into the light unit. DO NOT plug the light in yet.
18. Position the lamp approx’ 18 inches from the
Cubelite.

emove the reflector from it’s packaging.
20. Al
low to spring open forming a rounded square
shape.
21. Position the reflector inside the Cubelite on the
opposite side to the light.
22. The Cubelite is now ready to take your first image.
23. Position the products to be photographed inside the
Cubelite to your liking.

your viewfinder or LCD monitor.
25. Position the light to your liking, plug it into the wall
socket and switch it on.
26. Manouver the reflector until you are happy with the
lighting and shadows and then take the shot.
