Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY USB 3.1/3.0 Fibre Optic
Extender. It allows you to extend the distance between your host
computer and a USB 3.1 (Gen 1)/3.0 device by up to 200m. It
consists of a local unit with a USB Micro-B and a LC Duplex
Multimode connector - and a remote unit with a USB Type A and
a LC Duplex Multimode connector. LC Multimode Fibre Optic
cable up to 200m length is used to connect the two units (not
included).

using a Multimode bre optic cable (not included)

Installation
Connect Transmitter and Receiver using a Multimode bre optic
cable (not included) with LC Duplex connectors cross-over. Then
connect your USB 3.0 device to the USB 3.0 A female port of the
Receiver and plug the power supply into the Receiver. Finally
connect the Transmitter to your host computer using a USB
3.1/3.0 A male to USB 3.1/3.0 Micro-B male cable (not included).

Vielen Dank für den Kauf des LINDY USB 3.1/3.0 LWL/Fibre
Optic Extenders, mit dem Sie Entfernungen bis 200m zwischen
Ihrem Computer und einem USB 3.1 (Gen 1)/3.0 Device
überbrücken können. Der Extender besteht aus einem lokalen
Sender mit LC-Duplex Anschluss und USB Micro-B Buchse
sowie einem Empfänger mit LC-Duplex Anschluss und USB
Typ A Buchse. Mit einem max. 200m langen Multimode LWL-
Kabel werden Sender und Empfänger verbunden.

Installation
Verbinden Sie Sender und Empfänger des Extenders mittels
einem Multimode LC Duplex LWL-Kabel (nicht enthalten) über
Kreuz („cross-over„). Dann stecken Sie das mitgelieferte
Netzteil in die entsprechende Buchse des Empfängers.
Schließen Sie mit je einem USB-Kabel (nicht enthalten) zuerst
Ihr USB Device an der USB A Buchse des Empfängers und
zum Schluß den Sender an Ihrem Host-Computer.
