It is always a best practice to disconnect your negative battery terminal prior to any electronics
installations to avoid damaging the vehicles electrical system. Before you begin, read through
these instructions and check that all parts are present.
This installation may require specials skills and tools to complete, it may be necessary to seek
a trained installation technician to complete this installation. Please note that MB Quart cannot
assume any responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect installation.

Rear Speaker Installation
● Remove (4) 5mm Allen bolts to
remove the OEM Grill. Disconnect
the map light harness.
● Remove and disconnect (5) T30
Torx screws from the port and
(5) T20 Torx screws from both
speakers.
● Place included cutting template
over speaker holes, Mark the
outer edge of the 6x9 shape.
NOTE
DO NOT MARK around the
template location holes.

Rear Speaker Installation
● Remove 6x9 cutting template to
show cut lines. Using a rotary
cutting tool, cut along the marker
lines leaving a hole similar to the
picture on the right.
NOTE
BE VERY CAREFUL not to cut
the OEM wiring as this will be
re-used for the 6x9 speaker and
map lights.
● Remove the Map light from each
OEM grill. Attach the map light to
the back of the new grill using the
T15 OEM screws that held it on to
the OEM panel.
● Stick provided foam pads in these
two locations helping to seal the
rear sound wave of the speaker
into the soundbar and connect
the speaker harness included in
the kit to smaller white connector.
