It is always a best practice to disconnect your negative battery terminal prior to any electronics
installations to avoid damaging the vehicles electrical system. Before you begin, read through
these instructions and check that all parts are present.
This installation may require specials skills and tools to complete, it may be necessary to seek
a trained installation technician to complete this installation. Please note that MB Quart cannot
assume any responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect installation.

OEM Speaker Removal
● Once your Door panel has been
removed, store it in a safe location
until it is time to reinstall it, to avoid
any type of accidental damage.
● Now that the door panel is out of
the way, we can remove the OEM
speaker.
● Start by disconnecting the speaker
wire connector by depressing the
preasure tab to release the locking
clip. Then, slide the connector out
from the speaker basket.

OEM Speaker Removal
● With the speaker wires removed,
you can now remove the 10mm
bolts attaching your speakers to
the door. For the front door you
should have 4-10mm bolts, and the
rear will have 3-10mm bolts.
● Finally remove the speaker from
the door, you may need to use
a bojo tool or plastic pry tool to
release the speaker from the door.
