INSTRUCTIONS: (Instructions are general for all ADM full-canister vacs. Some of the below
information may not pertain to your specific model. Check list above for parts and accessories that go with
your particular machine):
VACUUM:
• Depress buttons on hose coupling; insert into vacuum front end cap.
• To reach those inaccessible areas, connect the Extension Wands to the hose. Eliminate bending to
clean low areas and stretching to reach the high areas.
• Start the vacuum by pushing the On/Off Switch (2 speed) to the left or right depending on speed
desired, or turn the knob clockwise to desired strength (variable).
• For Power Nozzle Models Only - Electric Hose: Connect the electric hose by inserting the short
straight coupling into the suction end of the power unit. Depress the buttons on coupling to insert
and remove hose. Plug in power supply cord from electric hose into power nozzle receptacle on
power unit. “On/Off” switch on ergonomically correct pistol grip allows you to go from carpet to bare
floors with a flick of a switch.
o “Electric” Power Nozzle: Assemble electric power nozzle by fitting chrome push button
extension wands into power nozzle neck.
o Snap power nozzle power cord into channel on push button extension wands.
o Plug power nozzle power cord into receptacle on hose handle.
o Depressing “pedal” on electric power nozzle, disengages the revolving brush, while the
headlight remains on allowing you to go from carpet to bare floors.
• The Combo Floor/Rug Tool: Attach to the steel chrome extension wands to clean carpeting.
Depress pedal for bare floors or carpeting. The swivel action permits proper contact with all
surfaces.
• Floor & Wall Brush: Used with extension wands for cleaning walls, hardwood, tile, cement or
linoleum surfaces.
• Crevice Tool: Cleans those hard to reach, tight spots.
• Dust Brush: The long, soft bristles gently loosen dust furniture, blinds, moldings, windowsills, etc.
• Crevice Tool: Allows you to clean those hard- -reach places.to
• Pik-All Nozzle: Cleans stairs, upholstery, draperies, and more.
BLOWER:
To use as a blower, release clamps and remove front end cap, cloth bag and fiberglass filter. Attached
coupling and hose to exhaust end.
TO INFLATE INFLATABLES
To use as an inflator, release clamps and remove front end cap, cloth g. Attached coupling and and ba
hose to exhaust end.
Inflator Adaptor: When inflating air mattresses, boats, rafts, insert hose coupling into exhaust. Inflator
adapters sold separately.
HEPA filtration includes paper disposable bag, permanent cloth bag, charcoal filter plus HEPA. To
protect your motor, and for maximum efficiency and log life, dispose of the used paper bag.
Frequently check the permanent cloth bag for dust/dirt buildup and caking. Shake out the
permanent cloth bag frequently. Check and replace the foam filter and HEPA filter 3 to 4 times a
year.
HEPA filter as new will be white; once it turns grey, it needs to be replaced or airflow efficiency
decreases.
CAUTION: If your machine has suction but does not clean when the hose is attached, remove the
hose from the suction end and place it on the blower end. Blow out the hose, it may be clogged.

WARRANTY:
This machine carries a Five Year Limited* Warranty.
The Five Year Warranty includes the unit and the motor.*
There is also a on Parts, Switches, and Cords.One Year Warranty*
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, with the exceptions
stated below:
• *MetroVac will repair or replace any defective or malfunctioning part* at no charge. If the machine
is not repairable, it will be replaced.
• *Mechanical alterations made to the machine will void the warranty.
• *Warranty does not cover carbon brushes, carbon brush wear, filters, or general maintenance.
• *The warranty does not cover physical damage made to the machine from tampering with or
attempting to take the appliance apart, improper electrical connections, or water damage.
*Customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from our facility.
***Even if the product is beyond the warranty period, we suggest you send the unit back to our
factory for expert repairs and maintenance at reasonable rates. Please click the following link to

dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
