OPERATING ELECTRIC VARMINT GUARD

Electric Varmint Guard

There are two wires, one is positive and the other is negative. To maintain

Moultrie’s standard in high battery eciency, the guard is inactive until both

wires are rst touched at the same time. When both wires are touched a

second time, the circuit is completed, creating a shock.

If mounting the Moultrie Quick-Lock Feeder Kit to:

• a Moultrie 30 or 55-gallon barrel* or Moultrie 6.5-gallon bucket, refer to Section C.

• a Moultrie 30-Gallon Quick-Lock Hopper, refer to Section D.

ADJUSTING FUNNEL HEIGHT

ATTENTION:Make sure the electric varmint guard is turned OFF and

battery is disconnected before adjusting funnel!

Once the funnel is in desired position,

retighten the screw with Phillips-head

screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

Adjusting the funnel height may be desired when

using dierent types or sizes of feed.

To adjust funnel height:

With a Phillips-head screwdriver,

loosen screw.

With screw loosened, use tabs to position funnel

in one of the two positions by either pushing

down or up depending on desired position.
