of this light fitting must only be performed by someone with

3. If your ceiling has alamp socket with aceiling hook,

thelight fitting can be hung onthat. Ifyour ceiling has

no pre-installed hook you should fit ahook capable of

supporting theweight of thelight fitting to theceiling.

Ensure that there are no electrical wires or water pipes in

theceiling where you intend to drill/screw.

Care and maintenance

Thelight fitting should be cleaned using adry cloth or vacuum

cleaner.

Responsible disposal

1. Warning: Turnoff thepower before

beginning theinstallation.

2. Theprocedures for installing light fittings on ceilings can

vary from country to country. Hereare two alternative

methods of connecting thelight fitting to theelectricity supply.

Alt 1. Lamplead with plug (sold separately) which plugs

into aceiling-mounted lamp socket.

Alt 2. Powersupply cable protruding from theceiling.

4. Fit thelight bulbs (3 or 4×max 35W respectively) and

theadjustingrods.

5. Turn thepoweron.

This symbol indicates that this product
