Areas of application of the Philips
Airfryer Snack cover:
- Snack cover designed for fatty
ingredients to limit cleaning (e.g. chicken
drumsticks/-wings; bacon; hamburger;
etc.)
- For light ingredients so they stay in
the basket (e.g.: slice of toast or during
dehydration of fruits and vegetables, or
if you make vegetable or patato chips.)
- Reduces the speed of browning on the
top which makes it perfect for more
versatile recipes (like cakes; potato
gratin; etc.).
WARNING: The Snack cover is hot after
usage in your Airfryer, please make sure
that you lift the cover with heat resistant
kitchen gloves or a fork.
Note: If you use the Snack cover the
cooking time may increase vs. the
recommendation in the recipe book,
as you need more time to reach the
same level of browning on the top and
doneness inside as without the lid.
Tip: The cover is useful in reducing smoke
during cooking e.g. of ingredients which
lose a lot of fat (e.g. chicken drumsticks/-
wings; bacon; hamburger…)
