While playing with the Philips Sound-Mirror, your baby
will have lots of fun experimenting with its voice and
will eventually be encouraged to start speaking.
All this while having fun doing so!
Naturally, your baby will enjoy playing most when you
are there to praise, encourage and respond!
Please read this guide carefully before using the Magic
Mirror, and keep the guide and the product packaging
for future reference, since they contain important
information.
PHILIPS BABY CARE – TAKING CARE TOGETHER
Playing with your Magic Mirror
1Your Magic Mirror can be attached to your baby’s
cot or playpen, by using the strap provided.
2To let baby play with the Magic Mirror unattached
to a cot or playpen, remove the strap provided by
turning the security lock clockwise.
The Magic Mirror is provided with 3 AA batteries.
1Press the ON/OFF switch to turn on the Magic
Mirror.
> Your Magic Mirror is now ready for recording or for
playing the pre-recorded sounds.
2Press the red or green button to hear amusing
sounds.
> You will hear one of the pre-recorded sounds.

If no buttons are pressed, the Magic Mirror records
baby’s sounds automatically, and immediately replays
those sounds twice.
3Press the ON/OFF switch to turn off the Magic
Mirror.
> Your Magic Mirror is now switched off.
Playing with your Magic Mirror EN
Sleep mode
Your Magic Mirror switches into the sleep mode after
5 minutes of non-use.
> If the product is in this sleeping mode for several
hours it still consumes power and the batteries may
go flat.
1Press the red or the green button.
> The Magic Mirror switches to normal operation.
Replacing batteries
1Turn the coin slot of the battery compartment anti-
clockwise.
> Open the battery compartment.
2Remove the empty batteries from the battery
compartment.
3Insert 3 new AA batteries, noting the + and –
configuration inside the battery compartment.
