Fitting
Please read all of this instruction before installing the
splashback.
The manufacture disclaims all liabilities for any
damage or injury caused as a result of not following
this instruction leaet.
To Fit the Splashback
This splash is intended to t behind a built in hob.
The wall should be at and clear of any obstructions.
The wall surface must be sound with no loose plaster
or aky paint and free from dust. If you intend to tile
the wall we recommend that the splash is tted rst
and the tiles are then tted up to the splash.
You will need the following equipment to complete
the splashback installation satisfactorily:
•Apencilormarker
•Arule
•Tileadhesive
Take care! The splashback is heavy and we
recommend at least two people should t it.
Beware of sharp edges. Use gloves when
handling the splashback.
Mark the intended splash position on the wall.
Applytileadhesive5mmthicktotherearoftheMDF
in each corner and centre.
60 & 70 Splashbacks
Hold the splashback in your marked position.
Press splashback into position using rm pressure
toallowtileadhesivetotakeupanyunevenwall
surfaces.
Thetileadhesivemanufacturer’sinstructionwill
indicate how long it should be left for to cure.
Note: When tting a cookerhood along with
this splashback, please refer to the cookerhood
instructions for important tting dimensions.
