What´s new in SilverCrest Alarm App?
An App based product is under steady development, to adjust functions to new IOS or
Android versions, or just to improve the quality and service to the enduser.
Also the SilverCrest Alarm App has got some new features lately which have not been
mentioned in the user manual yet!

CLICK – manual activation of a scene:
ŸAs explained in „create scenes“, you can create your own scenes, which are usually
triggered by either a timer or something happening, like open a window or movement
detection.
ŸNow you can also activate a scene without trigger, by just clicking on the „click“ button in
the App. For this, when adding a „Automating list“ (scene) in the Scene page of the App,
choose the condition „click“ and than add any action you want.
ŸYou will see the „click“ Icon in the scene list of the scene page and you can activate the
scene by tipping on it!
New funtions to make your system a suitable alarm solution:
1. Ofine notications:
ŸWhen your Connector is powered Off, or loses Internet for more than 10 minutes, the
system will send a „temporary Ofine“ notication, so that you know the system is not
active.
ŸAdditionally, if batteries are taken out from the magnet or the PIR detector, and the
devices cannot send the hourly heartbeat to indicate they are available, the system will
also send a notication that a device is ofine. You can than check and take action.

Hearing damage due to loud warning signal!
In the event of a warning alarm, the connector reaches high volumes of approx. 85
dB (A) at a distance of 3 meters. Wear ear protection when testing and do not stay
in the vicinity of the warning signal for an extended period of time in the event of
an alarm.
Explanation of used symbols
CLASS II EQUIPMENT: Equipment in which protection against electric shock does
not rely on BASIC INSULATION only, but in which additional safety precautions,
such as DOUBLE INSULATION or REINFORCED INSULATION are provided, there
being no reliance on either protective earthing.
WEEE: The WEEE symbol (a) means that this product and batteries must be
disposed separately from other household waste. When it reaches its end of life,
take it to a designated waste collection point in your area to guarantee a safe
disposal or recycling. Protect the environment, human health and natural
resources!
