1. Introduction
The EXMICRO2 can extend an HDMI2.0b (18Gbps) high definition video / audio signal and
one- way IR up to 50 meters (164 feet) between transmitter and receiver over a single
Cat5e/6 cable. up to 4K2K@60Hz 4:4:4The EXMICRO2 supports resolutions , up to
18Gbps, /1.4. and HDCP 2.2 In addition, the EXMICRO2 extender is equipped with one-
way IR (from display to transmitter device) which allows for source control and one HDMI
loop output.
The EXMICRO2 extender includes two units: transmitter unit and receiver unit. The
transmitter unit is responsible for transmitting the HDMI input signal via one Cat6 cable
and emitting IR control signals sent from the IR RX at the receiver end. The receiver unit
is responsible for receiving the HDMI signal and transmitting IR control signal.
