Introduction

The CN-133 USB Phone is an effective and easy way of communication.

With the CN-133, using Skype or other VoIP software becomes as easy as

using a regular telephone.

4. SkypeMate

Install SkypeMate in order to fully integrate the CN-133 into Skype.

Note:

Skype version 1.0.0.106 or higher is required to run SkypeMate.

4.1 Connect USB Phone to PC

• Connect the USB Phone to your PC, the LCD shows "VOIP-Phone".

4.2 Install SkypeMate

• Place the installation CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive, open My Computer/CD-ROM

drive, and start the file in the ‘Utility’ folder. setup.exe

• Click to start the installation, and follow instructions on your screen. Next

• When the installation is finished, start Skype, select “Allow this program to use

Skype” and click OK.

Note:

If you’ve selected the wrong item, you can execute “ -> -> File Options

Privacy Manage other programs’ access to Skype Change OK-> -> ->” ”

to open the window as above to make another selection.

After running SkypeMate, the icon will appear to the system tray as shown below:

• The icon above indicates the CN-133 and Skype are connected successfully.

• If the following icon is shown: , please run Skype first.

• If the following icon is shown: , it means the USB Phone is not connected

(correctly). Please (re)connect USB Phone to PC.

4.3 Call another Skype user (PC to PC)

In order to quickly dial another Skype user you can add a Speed-dial

number.

Right mouse click on a contact and select “Assign Speed-Dial”. Enter a Speed-Dial

number (for example “11”) and select OK.

To call this user, input the Speed-Dial number and call out:

Press "1" and "1" on the USB Phone (this number will be shown in Skype), then press

the SEND key ( ) on the CN-133 to call out.
