1 Important Safeguards
1.1 Safety instructions
• Read all instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces; use

• Do not let the cord hang over edge
of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas
or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
• Extreme caution must be used when
moving an appliance containing hot
oil or other hot liquids.
• Always attach the plug to appliance
first, then plug the cord into the
wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any
control to «off», then remove plug
from wall outlet.
• Do not use the appliance for other
than intended use.
• Never touch the heating elements
during use.
• Keep children under eight years of
age a safe distance if they are not
constantly supervised.
• Children must never play with the
appliance.
• Never rest mettalic objects such as
knives, forks, spoons and lids on the
appliance during use.
• Switch off the appliance
immediately after use.
• Never try to put out a fire or flames
with water: Turn off the appliance
and smother the flames with a fire
blanket or other appropriate cover.
• The appliance must never be
cleaned by unsupervised children.
• Have qualified personnel carry
out installation and assistance
interventions according to the
standards in force.
• Do not modify this appliance.
• Do not insert pointed metal objects
(cutlery or utensils) into the slots in
the appliance.
• Do not try repair the appliance
yourself or without the intervention of
a qualified technician.
• Do not place plastic containers or
