PRECAUTIONS
• Ensure correct polarity of cell batteries. Insert the batteries in the correct direction by aligning the marks
on the batteries with the spring in the back cover.
• When the megaphone will not be in use for a long period of time, remove the batteries.
• Drained cells or rechargeable batteries will not provide enough power for sufficient sound volume. For
optimum performance, replace cells or charge the batteries at regular intervals.
OPERATION
• Open the rear battery cover by lifting the silver latch.
• Insert 8 x “C” cell batteries (not included), following the printed instructions on the base.
• Close and lock the back.
• Now your megaphone is ready for action. Press the trigger switch to talk or activate the siren (if siren
switch set to “on.”)
• When using the megaphone, hold the unit as close to your mouth as comfortable for optimal sound.
• Adjust the Volume Control to the desired level, but be careful to avoid any feedback.
• When using the USB/SD/AUX function, select USB/SD on the handle switch, and then put a USB drive into
the USB slot or a SD card into the SD/MMC CARD slot. The arrow keys have two functions. Quick press to
navigate (rewind/forward) or hold to change the volume.
• To use the recording function, you must use the MIC setting on the handle. Before recording, it’s
recommended to adjust the volume control to zero to avoid possible feedback. Press the REC button on
the microphone and the indicator light will illuminate. Say your message and when finished, press the REC
button again when finished.
• To playback the recorded message, press the “PLAY” button on the microphone and pull the trigger. The
message will repeat for as long as you hold the trigger.
