1. Hardware Connection
This DVD-RW recorder is designed for Windows XP / Vista / 7. Please follow
these instructions to install and use your new device.
a)
Locate a free USB 2.0 socket on your computer and connect
the DVD drive via the supplied USB data cable.
Windows will automatically detect your new DVD drive and
install the relevant driver.
To check the assigned drive letter for your DVD-RW
recorder, please open "My Computer" on Windows XP or
"Computer" on Windows Vista / 7 to find the drive.
b)
Usually, the computer can supply enough power to the device via the USB
data cable alone, but under certain conditions, extra power may be
required.
In this case, please also connect the additional USB power cable between
your DVD drive and another free USB socket on the computer.
