1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read these instructions before starting the pump.
For safety reasons, persons who have not read the instructions shall not be authorised to use the
pump.
The appliance may be used by children over 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacities, or who lack experience or knowledge, on condition that they are
under supervision or after they have received instructions concerning the safe use of the
appliance and the understanding of the dangers involved. Children must not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and maintenance intended to be carried out by the user must not be
performed by children without supervision.
The power cable should never be used to transport or shift the pump. Always use the handle of
the pump for these operations.
2. OPERATION
Multi-purpose submersible pumps with a high degree of reability and safety designed for
drainage, emptying and small irrigation applications.
Models are suitable to pump waste water.
The temperature of the liquid handled should not exceed 35°C.
The pump cannot be used to pump sewage, inflammable, corrosive or explosive
liquids(i.e. petrol, fuel, diluents), greases, oils or food stuff.
In case power cable is damaged, to avoid any risk, replacement must be done by the
manufacturer of the pump or by an authorized service centre.
Before starting the pump, verify that:
The electric system is equipped with an automatic I n = 30 mA circuit breaker and that the
ground system is efficient;
The voltage and frequency shown (230 V/50 Hz) on the technical nameplate of the pump
correspond to the data of the electric supply system.
The power cable of the pump is not damaged.
The electric connection must be done in a dry area at a safety distance from possible floods;
3. START-UP
Insert the plug of the power cable in the socket.
Automatic operation:
The float switch automatically starts and stops the pump.
The height of water that regulates the starting and stopping of the pump can be changed by
modifying the length of the floatswitch cable between the support and the float switch.
Manual operation:
To start the pump, it is necessary to lift the float switch.
4. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
In order to guarantee a correct operation of the pump, it is necessary to follow the operation
instructions provided here below:
The pump should never run dry.
The pump must be installed in a stable position inside a collection pit or at any rate in the
lowest point of the room inwhich it is installed..
