E X P O S U R E :
Do not mount in direct sunlight, near a heat source, or near a large body of water as these situations
could affect the proper air temperature reading. Mount securely and protected from the wind to prevent
against any damage from being knocked off the mounting screw and falling to the ground. Ultraviolet
light from sunlight can prematurely weather the product.
M O U N T I N G I N S T R U C T I O N S :
Thermometer may be mounted by either hanging in a wall or utilizing the mounting bracket.
2-WAY MOUNTING:
1. Wall Mounting: Drive one of the small screws enclosed or a small nail into the desired mounting
location. Set the thermometer hanger over the screw or nail head.
2. Windowsill/Bracket Mounting: The bracket can be mounted in any desired position except at the top
(area marked "X" on back). Orientation lines have been provided to make horizontal or vertical alignment
of the bracket easier.
NOTE: Position of the thermometer should be determined
before installing bracket. Removing bracket once it is
installed may weaken the holding force. Fasten bracket
into back of thermometer by pushing the bracket's
spring tabs (A) against the inner circular rib (B) of the
thermometer. Press the third spring tab (C) until it snaps
into the undercut (E) in the rim of the thermometer. Using
the two screws provided, fasten the brackets to the
outside window frame or other selected surface. Once
the thermometer is mounted, adjust angles of mounting
bracket (D) to obtain optimum viewing of thermometer.
