QUICK USE GUIDE
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Select a location on a wall that is out of direct sunlight.
2. Two screws or nails (not included) are required for
mounting. Place the first screw approximately 2 ¾”
below the point where the top of the thermometer will be
positioned, leaving screw or nail head out approximately
¼”. Place the second screw or nail 8” below the first.
3. Place the thermometer over the screws or nails heads.
CLOCK OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Insert 1 AA battery (not included) according to polarity
markings inside the battery compartment.
2. Set correct time by rotating the adjustment knob on the
back of the clock movement.

thermometer by Taylor. This line of product is hand painted and sculpted of durable polyresin
material that is weather resistant. Includes thermometer coils that are precision made and
Quartz clock movement for the utmost accuracy. Please read instructions below thoroughly to
ensure that you have the full benefit of all the unit’s features. Keep these instructions handy for
future reference.
TO RECALIBRATE THE THERMOMETER
Your thermometer will be accurate from the factory, however
rough shipping and handling could disrupt the accuracy. Here
are some quick tips on how to recalibrate your thermometer.
1. Place the thermometer in a room with a known
temperature and allow the thermometer pointer to settle
for at least 10 minutes.
2. Spin the dial on the back of the thermometer to match
the current temperature of the room.
EXPOSURE
1. Do not mount in direct sunlight, near a heat source, or near a large body of water as these
situations could affect the proper air temperature reading. Ultraviolet light from sunlight
can prematurely weather the product.
2. Mount securely and protected from the wind to prevent against any damage from being
knocked off the mounting screw and falling to the ground.
