Remove the transport insert from the inserted battery.

Place the scales onto a at surface and press
. The display will show – the scales are ready
to weigh in grams.
Warning! If appears on the display after switching the scales on, the scales are not stable.
Switch the scales o , transfer them to a at surface and switch on again.
Weighing
Place asuitable container onto the scales, press and tare the display. Insert ingredients
into the container; the display will show its weight. The display will show the weight of all ingre-
dients in total after adding each next ingredient.
Useful hint: Food of appropriate dimensions and consistency can be weighed directly on the glass
surface of the scales.
Tare feature
Leave the container with the rst ingredient to be weighed on the scales and press . Insert
the second ingredient into the container; the display will show its weight. You can further add
ingredients to weigh them in asingle container up to the total permitted weight of 5 kg. When the
permitted capacity of the scales is exceeded, the display will show
