TheLM119seriesareprecisionhigh-speeddual

comparatorsfabricatedonasinglemonolithicchip.

Theyaredesignedtooperateoverawiderangeof

supplyvoltagesdowntoasingle5-Vlogicsupplyand

ground.Theyhavehighergainandlowerinput

currentsthandevicessuchastheLM710.The

uncommittedcollectoroftheoutputstagemakesthe

LM119compatiblewithRTL,DTL,andTTL,aswell

ascapableofdrivinglampsandrelaysatcurrentsof

upto25mA.

TheLM319Aoffersimprovedprecisionoverthe

standardLM319,withtightertolerancesonoffset

voltage,offsetcurrent,andvoltagegain.

Althoughdesignedprimarilyforapplicationsrequiring

operationfromdigitallogicsupplies,theLM119series

arefullyspecifiedforpowersuppliesupto±15V.

TheseriesfeaturesfasterresponsethantheLM111,

attheexpenseofhigherpowerdissipation.However,

thehigh-speed,wideoperatingvoltagerangeandlow

packagecountmaketheLM119moreversatilethan

olderdevicessuchastheLM711.

TheLM119isspecifiedfrom−55°Cto+125°C,the

LM219isspecifiedfrom−25°Cto+85°C,andthe

LM319AandLM319arespecifiedfrom0°Cto+70°C.
