NOTES:

The printer is pre-programmed at Torrey to communicate with your scale.

You will need to purchase a RS-232 9 pin serial cable. It must be a straight thru, male on one end, female

on the other end. DO NOT purchase a null modem cable. It will not work.

The yellow button on top of printer is for programming/diagnostics only. Do not press it.

Do not run the software while the printer is connected to a computer. This may erase or alter the

programming.

When you turn on the printer, after a few seconds the led (light) on top should turn yellow/orange.

Printer was programmed for a 2-1/4 x 1-5/8” label with 1/8” gap between them. (Other size labels may

work but you might need to follow the procedure below).

To print a label, put weight on the platter, enter a price, then press M+. A label should print and you will

see something like TOT 1. This means total of items you weighed. Press C once to weigh another product

or press C twice to clear total.

If the led (light) turns red or the labels are not dispensing correctly, follow the procedure below:

1). Turn off printer

2). Hold in button on top of printer and turn on.

3). Hold in button until led (light) flashes yellow. Release button.

4). After a few seconds the printer will dispense several labels. It should be calibrated now.

5). Turn off and back on. Led (light) should turn yellow/orange.

6). Print a label.
